Continual Energy Inc. and its subsidiary ARKHEAT are revolutionizing electrified heating systems, providing future-proof, modular heating and cooling systems for commercial and industrial buildings, data centers, decarbonization applications, and more. The qualified candidate will join our talented team of nearly 100 employees working to implement award-winning energy savings projects for our valued clients.

The HVAC Production Manager oversees the daily manufacturing operations of HVAC products, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and on-time delivery. This role involves managing a team of production staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining safety protocols, and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity and cost efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:



1. Production Oversight:



Manage and coordinate all production activities for manufacturing of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, ensuring production output meets quality requirements, delivery expectations, and cost goals. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts and inventory levels. Monitor production processes, adjusting work?ows to meet deadlines and maintain product standards.

2. Team Leadership and Development:



Supervise production sta?, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to production supervisors and team leads.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:



Ensure all production activities comply with quality standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and trades to address issues, implement corrective actions, and drive quality improvements. Maintain manufacturing documentation of production processes and ensure sta? adhere to established procedures.

4. Process Improvement and Cost Control:



Identify opportunities to enhance production e?ciency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Implement lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma principles, or other methodologies to streamline operations. Monitor and analyze production metrics, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Safety and Maintenance:



Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies, conducting training, and performing regular safety audits. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are well-maintained, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth production.

6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:



Work closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align production activities with company objectives. Communicate production status, challenges, and successes to management, providing regular updates and reports. Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills Required:



Experience and Education Required:



Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related ?eld (preferred). 5+ years of production management experience in an HVAC, sheet metal, or related manufacturing environment. Proven experience implementing process improvements and managing teams.

Technical Knowledge:



Familiarity with HVAC systems and components. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and production planning. Pro?ciency with production planning software and ERP systems.

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:



Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and con?ict-resolution skills. Excellent communication skills for sta?, management, and external partners.

Analytical and Organizational Skills:



Capacity to analyze production data, identify trends, and develop actionable plans. Well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Commitment to continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

Physical Demands:



Regularly required to stand, walk, and move about the production ?oor. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to a manufacturing environment, including noise and temperature ?uctuations.

Compensation:



Competitive salary $100,000-$130,000 Three (3) weeks of vacation. Ten (10) paid days off (sick days). Comprehensive health benefits package after a ninety (90) day probationary period. Retirement savings plan available after 2 years of continuous full-time employment. Potential for training and educational tuition reimbursement.

Schedule:



The typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, On-site attendance in the GTA office and factory is required. Occasional overtime or after-hours/weekend work is required.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada Applicants must be capable of completing an RCMP, police background check and references if required Applicants must have an active full driver's license from a Canadian province for a minimum of three (3) years. Not afraid to get your hands dirty
