We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.The Production Manager will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (102 Dawson Street) and is responsible for all major key performance indicators (KPIs): cost, waste, OEE, production quota and safety through supporting and aiding establishing quality systems to promote zero-defect products and services to satisfy customers. This is a permanent, full-time position. • Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant discipline
• 7-10 years\' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Thorough understanding of heathy and safety guidelines/regulation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

• Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging
• Safety: ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed; work with leaders on developing and implementing new health and safety guidelines; ensure the employee safety programs provide a safe working environment; actively promote an autonomous and compassionate safety culture through peer-to-peer feedback
• Accountability: responsible for maximizing asset utilization and data; responsible for developing risk mitigation plans, sponsor/champion projects that will increase performance and reduce cost as part of the initiative management process; fiscal responsibility for the production budget on a per annum basis
• Performance management: both indirect and direct responsibility for team members; responsible for performance reviews; responsible for the delivery/process of all major strategic KPIs; responsible for talent development processes
• Continuous Improvement: responsible for all project deliveries led by operations; establish strategic plan to fulfill organizational goals and initiatives; develop new initiatives that will help meet future goals; promote standard work within the departments;
• Communication/Engagement/Morale: ensure key communication is delivered and standard across the operation; mentor team members and direct reports; foster a positive culture and environment that maintains team morale
