Production & Planning Manager
to oversee our local manufacturing workflow, production planning systems and play an instrumental part in bringing our collections to life!
In this role you'll oversee the full scope of production (from sourcing fabrics to managing local manufacturing partners) ensuring every collection moves seamlessly from development to delivery. You'll also help shape our production systems and planning tools as we continue to scale. This position is ideal for someone who's both analytical and hands-on, and who's looking for a long-term opportunity within a small yet growing brand. You'll manage timelines, contractor relationships, and product development all while keeping things running smoothly and supporting our growing team with clarity and calm.

REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in an apparel production role.
Some management experience is preferred.
Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and small-batch manufacturing.
Highly organized with exceptional communication and time management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; confident managing complex data.
Proven ability to lead, delegate, and manage contractor relationships.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, small-team environment.
Experience with small-batch and local production a strong asset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Management & Scheduling
Build and manage production calendars and critical paths for all collections.
Oversee local manufacturing workflows, including cutting, sewing, QC, and delivery timelines.
Organize and allocate production runs across factories, sewers, and studios.
Manage 1-2 Coordinators and relevant Contractors
Vendor & Material Coordination
Manage communication and purchasing for local and overseas fabric and trim vendors.
Oversee fabric and notion inventory, sourcing, and quality control.
Negotiate pricing and identify cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
Planning, Systems & Costing
Maintain and refine costing spreadsheets, production trackers, and planning tools.
Partner with the founder to forecast production capacity and analyze margins.
Develop new systems to scale production efficiently as the brand grows.
Development & Collaboration
Collaborate with the Product Developer and Production Coordinator to organize sampling and pre-production workflows.
Ensure tech packs, specifications, and fit notes are complete and consistent across all stages.
Support weekly fittings and help translate design intent into production-ready garments.
Lead with kindness and clarity while managing internal staff and contractor relationships.
