A Bronze Age is a contemporary clothing and accessories brand based out of Vancouver, BC. We are carried in over 40 retailers worldwide and proudly manufacture everything within a 30km distance of our East Vancouver studio.

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our team of lovely humans in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you'll oversee the full scope of our manufacturing process and play an instrumental part in bringing our collections to life!

PREQUIREMENTS

4+ years of experience in apparel production Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, patterns, and fashion fabrics/trims HIGHLY organized with excellent time management and communication skills Advanced skillset in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable with digital systems Proven ability to lead, delegate, and manage contractor relationships Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, small-team environment Experience with small-batch and local production is an asset A people-person who brings good energy to the room -- easy to work with, collaborative, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all production and development timelines for wholesale and e-comm orders ensuring all production schedules are met Maintain contractor relationships (sewers, pattern makers, factories) and serve as first point of contact Oversee sampling process and support design translation through weekly fittings and development reviews Develop new systems to organize and scale production when needed. Ensure consistency in fit, grade rules, and overall garment quality Create and maintain accurate tech packs with detailed specifications to ensure clarity and consistency across all stages of sampling and production. Oversee fabric and notion inventory, QC processes, and sourcing of trims/supplies Maintain and manage costing spreadsheets, assisting in pricing strategies which includes negotiating with suppliers/vendors/factories Lead fabric and notion purchasing, negotiate rates, and identify cost-saving opportunities Manage 1-2 Production Coordinators and seasonal help: delegate tasks, oversee workflow, and maintain an organized fabric/notion room Organize and allocate sample and production runs across contractors Recruit new factories/home sewers and assess fit and quality of their work
