Salary: $40 to $42 per hour
Job Type: Temporary (approx. 15 months with the opportunity for extension)
Shift: DaysWe are looking for a Production Manager for our client, a leader in their field, in the Etobicoke area. If you have strong leadership skills and provide the highest standards to your team as well as your clients, then this role is for you.Main responsibilities and duties:- Coordinate, assign and review the work and set work schedules
- Participate in the hiring of warehouse personnel as well as its training and development - Be responsible for the employees of the department
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse employees
- Be responsible for the proper functioning of equipment in the warehouse
- Make prevention regarding the handling of the goods
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the daily operations within the cost quality standards
- Plan the daily labor needs of the warehouse and ensures compliance with standards, policies and productivity requirements
- Ensure daily operations are conducted in accordance with the standards in health and safety program
- Provide leadership, coach and train to motivate employees to help them achieve their goals
- Produce quality products with the cost quality standards
- Present KPIsExperience and qualifications:- At least 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Ability to build a team with teamwork and relationships with employees
- Act as a back up manager (12 to 35 employees)
- Health and safety knowledge of regulations and workers' compensation processes
- Excellent organizational, and time management skills
