Production Line Machine Operator
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Setup, operate and maintain production machinery
? Monitor production quality and make necessary machine adjustments
? Follow work orders and meet daily production targets
? Maintain a clean and safe workstation
? Work closely with teammates and supervisor to ensure smooth operation
? Perform light equipment maintenance and cleaning
? Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
? Perform quality checks using scales, in addition visually checks and report any abnormality
? Ensure accurate packaging and labelling of finished goods
? Monitor quality of packaging materials and finished product
? Complete Daily shift reports and ensure accuracy
? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety protocols, operating manuals and maintenance instructions
? Perform other duties as assigned
Job Specifications
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
? Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production line experience preferred.
? Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery safely.
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
? Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
? Good communication and teamwork skills.
? Hands on experience operating PLC-controlled equipment
? Experience with Multi-Head Scales, Bagger and other Material Handling/Packaging systems
? Basic computer skills for tracking Quality Control and inputting maintenance issues.
? Physically capable of standing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
