Production Labourer

Summary

The Production Labourer assists in the repair and production of hydraulic cylinders, ensuring they meet customer specifications. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the Manufacturing and Service process.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Assemble manufactured hydraulic cylinders as per drawings supplied Prepare and set up tools and equipment for fabrication jobs Operate a variety of manual machines Complete accurate paperwork, such as job traveler and safety forms Operate and maintain equipment, such as power tools Assemble repaired hydraulic cylinders as per the repair process Disassemble and clean hydraulic cylinders Assist in pressure test hydraulic cylinders Read and interpret drawings, manuals and specifications Communicate with multiple stakeholders Paint and package jobs for shipping Ensure compliance with all quality, environmental procedures, rules, and regulations Meet production schedules and timelines to deliver products on schedule Maintain clean organized workspace Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

High School diploma, GED or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Ability to obtain valid forklift and crane certification Basic computer skills required Able to determine the kind of tools and equipment required to do the job Excellent attention to detail Have a positive team-oriented attitude with effective problem-solving skills Strong communication the ability to read and write English Highly organized and self-motivated Must be adaptable to changing work environment and competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

6:am-2:30pm / Mon.- Fri.
