Production Graphic Designer Job Title: Production Graphic Designer Reports to: Creative Manager Date: July 2023 We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer to help us with day-to-day design workflow and maintenance of our brand. The Production Graphic Designer\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include designing and following layouts previously established by creative director or senior designer, ensuring brand standards are in place, and putting the finishing touches on creative projects. We want someone who is creative, meticulous, can work well under tight deadlines, and has a keen eye for details, no matter how small. Production Graphic Designer Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Working with creative director and production lead to refine design specifications and collaborating with designers, and developers. \xc2\xb7 Designing and reviewing graphics, layouts (print and web), and fonts before designs are completed. \xc2\xb7 Resizing and retouching photography (product and lifestyle). \xc2\xb7 Editing simple videos for social media and blog purposes. \xc2\xb7 Suggesting and making improvements to images and image quality in print and digital formats. \xc2\xb7 Preparing print-ready files based on the supplied specifications, including multiple page documents such as catalogues and large format event graphics. \xc2\xb7 Following development timelines to ensure projects are completed on time. \xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting any problems and roadblocks with the design team and the production lead. \xc2\xb7 Cataloguing produced images and graphics for future projects. \xc2\xb7 Following up with internal and external clients and project owners to ensure their expectations have been met. \xc2\xb7 Keeping up-to-date with graphic design trends, techniques, and software. Production Graphic Designer Requirements: \xc2\xb7 A Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in graphic design, visual arts, or a closely related field. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in creative field (agency or corporate side). \xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a production designer, graphic designer, or similar. \xc2\xb7 A portfolio of graphics and designs (only candidates with portfolio will be considered for the role). \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of printing processes and software applications, including Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of Figma web design software. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere, knowledge of Adobe After Effects is nice-to-have. \xc2\xb7 Experience with designing for digital content, such as social media, online advertising, and email campaigns. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of web-development best practices and preparing design files for web development. \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical, time management, and multitasking skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.   • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
