Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Wage:

$26-28/hour (based on experience)

Sheldon Creek Dairy is a family-owned dairy manufacturing facility producing high-quality farm-fresh dairy products. We operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where teamwork, accountability, and pride in production matter. We are looking for a Production Supervisor who is a doer--someone who leads from the floor, gets things done, and brings people along with them.

Position Overview



The Production Supervisor is a hands-on working leader responsible for keeping daily production running efficiently, on time, and to standard. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable running production lines, guiding staff, problem-solving on the fly, and holding the team accountable.

80% of the time you will be on the floor, anticipating issues, keeping production moving, and ensuring the team knows what's next at all times. 20% will be computer work.

Key Responsibilities



Production & Efficiency



Oversee daily production activities to ensure schedules are met on time and in full Closely monitor production efficiencies, downtime, and labour use Push production forward by keeping the team focused, on task, and moving to the next step without delays Think ahead in the process to prevent bottlenecks, shortages, or idle time Ensure products are produced safely, accurately, and to quality standards

Team Leadership



Lead by example with a strong "get it done" attitude Build and motivate a productive, accountable team culture Clearly communicate priorities, expectations, and next steps throughout the day Redirect staff when needed to keep production on track Train, coach, and support operators on equipment and processes Foster entrepreneurial thinking--encouraging efficiency, ownership, and continuous improvement

Hands-On Production Support



Actively assist in running production lines as needed Step in to troubleshoot issues, relieve bottlenecks, or support short staffing Be mechanically aware and capable of identifying basic equipment issues Work closely with management to improve systems, flow, and output

Safety & Standards



Ensure all SOPs, food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment Lead by example in safety, cleanliness, and professionalism

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in food production or manufacturing (dairy experience an asset) A hands-on doer who leads from the floor, not the sidelines Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort around production equipment Natural team leader with the ability to motivate and hold people accountable Organized thinker who plans ahead and anticipates challenges Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
