Production Floater - Night Shift

? Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
About the Role
We are currently hiring a Production Floater (Night Shift) to join our client's food manufacturing team. The Floater will support production by assisting machine operators, performing packaging and material handling duties, and providing relief coverage for staff during breaks. Key Responsibilities
Assist machine operators and line leaders with production activities
Follow GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, and food safety standards at all times
Support with raw material loading, dough monitoring, and packaging checks
Handle raw and finished products with care to maintain quality standards
Perform hourly QA checks and record results accurately
Assist with changeovers and product set-ups, ensuring timely completion
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to company standards
Provide relief coverage for breaks (including GLs and machine operators)
Communicate production issues to supervisors and maintenance teams
Safely transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in food & beverage, GMP-regulated, or CPG manufacturing (required)
Strong mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Physically able to lift 15 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
Working Conditions
Exposure to moving machinery, hot and humid conditions, noise, dust, and chemicals
Standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working on platforms required
