Viva Deli Inc. is a growing food processing plant specializing in traditional Eastern European products like perogies, pelmeni, and dumplings. We are committed to delivering high-quality products for our customers, all while maintaining a positive and safe working environment.

We are seeking highly motivated and dependable individuals (multiple vacancies) to join our team as Production Equipment Cleaners. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all production equipment is cleaned and sanitized to ensure a safe, hygienic, and efficient work environment. This is a casual position, with the potential for full-time employment for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production equipment using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies. Assist with general facility cleaning when needed (floors, waste removal, etc.) Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists Work efficiently to meet cleaning timelines and production schedules Follow all company policies including health, safety and sanitation standards Maintain communication with supervisors and production team to ensure all equipment is ready to use and reporting any issues with equipment.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning or sanitation experience (industrial, janitorial or commercial is an asset) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Reliable, self-motivated, punctual Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work as a team and independently Comfortable using cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals Excellent communication skills

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week

Work Location: In person
