Job Overview:



The Production Lead manages, oversees and optimizes the Production team and workflow within the agency. This role acts as the bridge between the creative, account, and vendor teams--managing schedules, quality control, and technical specifications to deliver exceptional work on time and on brand.


What You'll Do:



Ensure that creative concepts are executed flawlessly across all production materials. Lead internal reviews of mechanical files, verifying compliance with printer specs, color management, and overall quality control. Mentor junior production staff and help streamline production workflows and documentation standards. Working closely with the Creative Resource Manager to help maintain production schedules, track deliverables, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budget parameters. Leading status meetings to ensure team is supported and aligned. Onboarding new Production team members. Provide ongoing analysis of studio process and recommend protocol and workflow to improve efficiency and quality of work,

What We're Looking For:



8+ years experience in a Production position within an agency (or similar) environment Keen eye for details when designing and reviewing work Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) Experience managing a team of Production Designers Deep understanding of production and print processes + best practices Equally versed in print and digital outputs Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Solution-oriented troubleshooting of problems as they arise with internal teams and suppliers Exceptional organizational skills, especially with file management and archiving Experience reviewing vendor specs and following trafficking requirements Confident multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Self-starter with a positive "can-do" attitude Previous agency or in-house experience a must



Base salary range: $80 - $115k CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.


Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
