A WORD ABOUT US

We come from many different places, but what unites us is our passion. At Moment Factory, each new project is a blank page awaiting the creativity and talent of our whole team, no matter the individual responsibilities, roles, or fields. Our desire to innovate, to take risks, and to learn from our mistakes and from each other is what allows us to create collective projects that go above and beyond. Today, thanks to a team of 450 creative minds, we have been able to create immersive multimedia environments for artists, museums, airports, brands, theme parks and events, as well as our signature shows. No matter the canvas - be it film, lighting, multimedia architecture, sound design, special effects, or interactive projects - the thirst for experimentation and innovation is at the core of our DNA.

YOUR TEAM

You'll be joining the Production Management team within the Center of Expertise, a department with over 200 multidisciplinary experts. The Production Management team, composed of Production Coordinators and Content Project Managers, brings the many ideas imagined in our concepts to life by ensuring the smooth flow of Moment Factory's visual productions, both creatively and technically.

YOUR MISSION

As a Production Coordinator (Scrum Master profile), your main mission will be to coordinate the work of various talents and experts involved in the project, more specifically for interactive and software production. With an overview of all production activities, you will bridge the gap between project leadership, developers, internal experts and artists, as well as external collaborators, to ensure the smooth running of the different stages of the production schedule. You will work in close collaboration with the content and interactive project managers to implement the established strategy in compliance with the Agile methodology.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination, communication and project follow-up:

Coordinate and facilitate communication between the various stakeholders: the creative leadership of the project, creative and technical experts (concept artists, motion designers, 3D artists, developers, technological architects, etc.), external collaborators and any other stakeholders, including organizing meetings and taking notes. Be responsible for the deployment and adherence to the production schedule previously established by the Content or Interactive Project Manager. Monitor the hours allocated to tasks, according to the budgets established by the project manager. Conduct daily follow-ups with project teams to ensure a sustained pace of production. Support Project Managers and the rest of the team in developing the backlog and priorities. Identify team blockers and communicate any elements that may affect the schedule or budget to the Project Manager, while contributing to the search for solutions. Ensure the smooth running of production by preparing the necessary elements for each involved party and ensuring the follow-up of creative iterations (presentations, production templates, sound material, assets, templates, 3D models, etc.). Maintain the agile methodology on several simultaneous projects. Collaborate with the team to ensure synergy between the environment, its content and the technology used. Participate in documentation throughout the project, including the production of sprint reports and progress reports, follow-up of notes and iterations. Be able to measure team productivity. Organize viewing, quality control, prototyping or user experience (UX) tests. Manage the purchase of royalty-free images. Be responsible for archiving, folder structure and adherence to file nomenclature for their project. Coordinate certain technical and logistical aspects to prepare for in situ integrations. If necessary, participate in in situ project integrations. Be responsible for the delivery of approval files and final files.

Continuous improvement and contribution to the development of expertise within the team:

Improve agile reflexes in teams and bring autonomy to projects/teams. Actively contribute to the improvement of internal processes and production coordination tools. Train teammates on Agile principles and lead Scrum meetings. Suggest technical solutions to maintain simple and effective processes, with the aim of improving productivity. Perform all other responsibilities and/or tasks related to this position.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

University or college education in software development, interactive media, VFX production, video games, cinema, television, project management or any other relevant discipline related to the production of visual and interactive content. Certification in project management, Scrum Master or equivalent, an asset. 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination/management, with relevant experience as Scrum Master or in multimedia production. Excellent professional proficiency in French and English, both oral and written. Proficiency in the Google suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.). Good understanding of software development tools (Unity, Unreal, C++, JS), an asset. Knowledge of 2D, 3D and real-time content production processes. Knowledge of Shotgrid, JIRA and Confluence, an asset. Curiosity and interest in AI, new technologies and innovation.

YOUR QUALITIES

Excellent communication skills. Highly organized. Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously. Skilled in managing human and creative resources. Comfortable with clerical and/or administrative tasks. Autonomous, team-oriented, sense of priorities, and reliable. Curious and continuously monitors developments in the design, entertainment, multimedia, and post-production industries. Self-taught and passionate.
