Job Summary:



The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating production activities to ensure timely completion of work orders while meeting quality and delivery targets. This role also focuses on expediting materials and products, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring smooth communication between departments to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and report on production progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Follow up on options and external accessories, ensuring they are always ready and ahead of the schedule by at least 4-5 production cycles before brickmold assembly. Collaborate with quality, production, purchasing, and shipping departments to maintain smooth operations. Record and update hourly production boards regularly. Track open work orders (incomplete schedules) and expedite jobs that are behind schedule. Follow up on quarantined windows for rework and coordinate with relevant departments (glass, paint, SAW, assembly) to ensure they are completed as soon as possible. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, escalating issues to management when necessary. Maintain accurate production data, material movement logs, and expediting records. Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and improve efficiency. Promote effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Perform additional tasks and activities as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Batchlor degree in Production, Industrial Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). Capable to use measure tape and conversion between decimal and fraction (in inches). 2-5 years of experience in production coordination or expediting. Strong knowledge of production workflows, scheduling techniques, and inventory management. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word). Also willing to learn FeneVision. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ready to work extra hours or over time as and when required. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issue
