Join our dynamic Production Control team and gain hands-on exposure to shipbuilding operations across all ISI locations. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you'll work side-by-side with production teams, supporting real-time decision-making and driving process improvements that shape the performance of a nationally significant program.

Building and maintaining production reports and dashboards to support planning, scheduling, and performance tracking. Engaging with production teams to support construction schedule alignment. Participating in and leading special projects focused on process optimization, automation and data-driven problem solving. Work closely with production teams across the shipyard to gather and analyze operational data. Participate in daily production meetings to understand current priorities and identify areas where data can support decision-making. Assist in troubleshooting data issues and improving reporting accuracy and efficiency. Explore and apply tools like Power Query, Power Automate, and simulation modeling to streamline workflows. Collaborate with experienced analysts and engineers to understand how data drives shipbuilding operations.

Currently enrolled in a

Bachelor of Engineering program.

0-2 years' experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel and Power Query. Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or simulation modeling is an asset. Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver. Strong academic performance. Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry and a desire to join an exciting, fast-paced organization.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).



Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
