Production Cabinet Designer

We are looking to add a motivated professional individual to the position of Cabinet Production Designer. To be successful, the applicant must have a background in building cabinets as well as design and installation. You will also have a strong skillset using AutoCad 3D and/or Mosaic software to produce cabinet drawings for our specialized mobile units.

The position is required to be in office, however, over time there may be a possibility to work from home a few hours per week.

Key Role Accountabilities

Experience in building cabinets

Create and design detailed drawings using AudoCAD 3D or Mosaic to include layouts and elevations for all millwork

Produce shop drawings for release to shop

Calculate dimensions and material requirements

Update existing AutoCad 3D drawings

Manage electronic files in an effective and clear manner to allow for easy access

Contribute to the production of cabinets and installation as required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience with cabinet building and installation

Minimum 2 years experience with AutoCAD 3D and/or Mosaic software preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail

Strong command of the English language

Results driven

Positive attitude

Clean driver's abstract / reliable transportation

The position offered is full time | 40 hours per week | Monday through Friday | 7am to 3:30pm which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and 2 paid 15 minute breaks.
