Production Associate - Test (Afternoon Shift)We have a rewarding opportunity for a Production Associate- Test -Afternoon Shift at our world class manufacturing facility in Ottawa, ON!Working as a member of the Manufacturing Production group, you will be responsible for testing and working with Test Engineering Support involved in the manufacture of CWDS products.Location: Ottawa, ONWe Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I RRSP with Employer Match I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Competitive Pay I Referral Program I Recognition I I *Your Challenge:Set up and perform tests following specific test procedures using automated test equipment.Identify non-conforming products.Provide feedback on technical issues to Test Engineering Support.Suggest process changes and improvements as it relates to your work environment.Perform ATPs (Acceptance test procedures) for the various products.Perform JTAG testing for the various products.Perform Environmental Stress testing of productsBox Build Run-in and system testing.Attend all provided product test training.Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.Willing to support 3 shift rotations as required.Responsible to setup/remove test equipment.Complete all logs, reports and other data as defined by Team Lead/Engineer.What you Bring:Experience in working with test procedures and supporting documentsTechnical writing experience would be an asset.Strong technical and computer skills as well as MS office tools.Familiar with DOS operating system and Windows environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience in a LEAN manufacturing model would be an asset.Experience in using SAP would be an asset.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changes in the build schedule as required.Electronic Technician or equivalent post-secondary education with three to five years of experience in ESS/Test within a manufacturing environment.Who We AreAt our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario, we manufacture rugged products optimized for high-mix, high quality and small batch sizes typical of military requirements.
