Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate is responsible for:


performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner following company safety standards performing routine cleaning, inspecting and minor maintenance on equipment Work in a productive and dynamic environment with a chance to make an impact with a global industrial leader Have the opportunity for a satisfying job in a world class manufacturing plant.

Shift work for 24/7 Operation

Pay rate starting at $21.85 / hr.

Packer Flex after 1,000 hours' wage increases to $25.19 / hr. and boot allowance and uniforms. Sun Life Benefit package kicks in after 4 months. Packer after 3,000 hours or 18 months' - pay increases to $27.55 Nightshift premium $1.70 / hr. Weekend premium $0.30 / hr

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

A successful candidate should be able to:


Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends Minimum grade 12 education and some post-secondary education preferred Must be a team player Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner Able to learn to operate automated plant manufacturing equipment Must be able to interact, communicate and work effectively and professionally with all employees and management staff in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to spend a significant amount of time on plant floor. Job includes tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair climbing, lifting, and entering confined spaces. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards
