General Duties

On-Call production employees supplement our full-time staff for vacation relief, absenteeism relief, and fluctuations in production demand. Hours per week are varied, and availability for all shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights) is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Various wrapping and packaging duties Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work station Assisting with quality control

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent) Completion of post-secondary education an asset Quick learner with leadership qualities, superior communication and troubleshooting skills Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the food industry, is an asset Flexible availability for all shifts

Afternoons $1.04 / hour Midnights $1.39 / hour
