Job Summary:


Broken Coast Cannabis is looking for a Production Associate to work in the Production department of our busy cannabis production facility.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, the Production Associate will be responsible for performing tasks related to hand trimming, curing, and bulk packaging.

Functions of the job include:


Hand trim product to internal standards Ensure product is cured and packaging product for shipment Maintain product quality standards during curing process Complete room set up, take down, change-over, and product distribution processes Complete required training, including any required quality assurance and health and safety training Report any equipment or facility system deficiencies Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to sanitation, cultivation, and processing Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records Responsible for promptly reporting any deviations from SOPs Responsible for adhering to safe work procedures and reporting hazards Complete relevant forms, logs, and other documentation to meet the requirements of SOPs and Company Policies Participate in company training on policies, procedures, and work methods Assist other departments as needed Perform other duties as may be required by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Ability to understand and follow documented procedures Ability to follow direction and carry out tasks independently Ability to perform repetitive & labor-intensive work Great attention to detail & ability to work cleanly and methodically.

Physical Characteristics:


Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks Close visual focus required This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects, and involves bending and reaching Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar facility an asset, though on the job training will be provided.

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:00pm) 38 hours per week-Full time, Permanent position.

Wage:

CAD $21/hr
