Role Summary & Purpose:
The Production Employee is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of production lines in accordance with company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and health and safety regulations. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, line efficiency, and overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Operations
Set up, operate, clean, and maintain assigned equipment and production lines.
Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are met throughout the shift.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, product quality issues, or production delays to the Supervisor promptly.
2. Quality & Compliance
Perform and document all required quality inspections accurately and on time.
Follow GMP, HACCP, and all Black Fly Beverage Company Inc. quality standards.
Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Report any contamination, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
3. Safety & Workplace Conduct
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe work procedures at all times.
Recognize and report hazards or near-misses in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
Support a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative work environment.
4. Attendance & Team Responsibilities
Arrive on time, ready to work at the start of the shift and after breaks.
Notify your Supervisor of any absences or delays prior to shift start.
Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced beverage production environment.
Requires standing for long periods, repetitive tasks, and ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to varying noise levels, moisture, and temperature changes.
This position involves rotating shift work. Employees must be available to work all shifts as scheduled, including:
o 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Day Shift)o 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (Afternoon Shift)o 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (Night Shift)
Overtime, weekend, or holiday work may occasionally be required, with pay and scheduling handled in compliance with ESA standards.
Qualifications:
3-5 years working in a manufacturing setting

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
is required.
Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently.
Basic math skills.
Physical dexterity.
Able to meet rotating shift requirements.
Reliance attendance is required.
