Job Description

Our client in Northern Alberta is a globally recognized developer of innovative and sustainable chemical technology and products, minimizing impact on our environment. They service multiple industries including construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing and are looking for an experienced Production Associate to support the team as they set up the new line at their chemical manufacturing facility in Grande Prairie. Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading products from chemical trucks
• Responsible for the bulk blending process including mixing and filling totes
• Ensuring equipment and materials are utilized efficiently
• Performing preventative and routine maintenance
• General housekeeping of the facility as required
• Responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions and maintaining consistent communication with Team Lead
• Following through with required document reporting, safety protocols, and ISO certifications
• Reporting any near misses, incidents, operating variance, or other safety issues to Management

Requirements:

• Experience in a related field is an asset, ideally with chemical blending
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Mechanical aptitude, with the knowledge or willingness to learn about the chemical production process
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety
• Excellent communication and time management skills with the willingness to work in a team environment
• First Aid, CPR, and H2S certification is an assets
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a mask fit test
• Must be available to work overtime and on call
