Production Associate - Part Time

Would you like to create all-natural, vegan products? Master Soap Makers is seeking a part-time production associate to work directly with our soap bars, hair bars, play dough and other products, as well as production duties.

Master Soap Makers is a privately owned Calgary based all-natural, vegan soap, hair and body and children's products manufacturer. Training will be provided.

Our facility is located at: 6927 48 St SE.

Responsibilities:

- Follow formulas and production steps

- Control light manufacturing equipment

- Mixing and pouring batter

- Cut, stamp and package product

- Ingredient preparation

- Packaging and assembling of products

- Product labeling

- Pack orders and prepare for shipping

- Counting inventory

- Documenting notes for test batches

- Prepare sodium hydroxide

- General cleaning duties

- Adhere to safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

- Comfortable wearing protective equipment such as goggles, mask/ respirator, lab coat, gloves

- Ability to take direction and work independently as well as with a team

- Attention to detail and craftmanship

- Lifting up to 35 pounds

- Stand for 8 hours

Assets, not required:

- Previous experience in any production or kitchen/cook role

- Interest in essential oils, natural soap, body products

- Bakery, cooking or deli experience

- WHIMIS, First Aid, CPR
