Production Associate

Overview

ReturnPro is looking for a team-oriented, driven, and energetic Production Associate. The Production Associate performs all tasks involved in the production of ReturnPro products. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The Production Associate ensures quality control, the amount and type of materials used, and that equipment is handled properly.

Primary Responsibilities

Check-in the appropriate products Test the product after it has been checked in Grade, clean, and accessorize the product Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Place finished goods on the designated pallet Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment Thoroughness when grading, cleaning, and accessorizing product Maintain equipment and clean work areas Practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible Evaluate the quality of end products Ensure that the workspace is clean and neat Keep a record of work orders Ensure that health and safety laws are followed
Qualifications

A high school qualification or equivalent Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous Knowledge of health and safety laws Excellent knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing process Frequently required to walk, bend, use hands, and reach with hands and arms Possible weekend work and overtime required (including potential overnight shifts) Ability to frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry 20-35 lbs. Ability to frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts of varying size and weight overhead Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Demonstrated initiative Ability to think creatively and problem solve when faced with new challenges Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner Ability to manage competing priorities Ability to succeed in a team environment
