POSITION SUMMARY
Assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
\xef\x82\xb7 Performs assembly and test activities as outlined in Manufacturing Assembly Protocols (MAPs).
\xef\x82\xb7 Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
\xef\x82\xb7 Follows all applicable safety procedures and practises safe work habits.
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
\xef\x82\xb7 Identifies non-conforming components, assemblies and processes by using the NC System process
\xef\x82\xb7 Initiates continuous improvement activities in own area, and supports continuous improvement activities of all employees.
\xef\x82\xb7 Monitors stock levels in work area and advises Lead Hand regarding shortages.
\xef\x82\xb7 Completes work orders, production/time sheets, quality records and other records and requests
\xef\x82\xb7 Performs other job activities as instructed by the Lead Hand or Production Leader

QUALIFICATIONS
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to communicate and interact effectively
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work equally well as part of an assembly team or individually
\xef\x82\xb7 Organized with attention to detail.
