Job Overview:

Pacific Truss is offering a rewarding opportunity as a Production Team member on our award-winning team in Cobble Hill, British Columbia. We have been a proud employer in the Cowichan Valley for over 60 years!



The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail oriented, and motivated to grow within the company. As an important member of the production team, you will assist the Operations Manager. Experience in manufacturing or construction along with familiarity and comfort using simple power tools would help set you up for success.

What You'll do:

Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order as directed by the Team Leader Assembles trusses in accordance with the company procedures, SWOP and as instructed by Team Leader Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment; and reports any problems to the Team Leader Maintains a clean workstation throughout the shift, and especially cleaning up shortly before the end of the shift Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct, and careful manner, as instructed Other duties as required

What You Bring:

Ability to show up to work on time with a positive attitude. Must have wood-working/construction experience Able to use hammer & read tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth method. Able to read & understand work orders Verbal and written language proficiency in the English language Detail oriented, organized, safe and accurate. Ability to work productively in a team environment. Strive toward developing new skills. Always looking for ways to improve yourself personally & professionally. Do what it takes to get the job done in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Ability to adapt to change.

Wage:

$21 per hour

Schedule:

8-hour Shifts Monday-Friday Overtime

Education:

Secondary Education preferred. * Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
