OPIsystems Inc.
is looking to hire twoAssembler's
on our production floor starting on a three month contract basis and then potential extending terms with growth of orders.An Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic, or measurement product assembly on product components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. Assemblers determine and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation, or hand soldering. These positions will include any or all of the following positions:
1. Sensor manufacturing
2. Sensor soldering
3. Cable Prep
Other responsibilities include:
Ensuring orders are processed in accordance with weekly schedules or priority basis Assist co-workers with any problems that may occur Testing cables after being soldered Test sensors after calibration Clean cable and prepare for shipping/testing Attach leads as per order describes Make windows as per cable description make notches on every sensor Silicon porex filter to sensor Use silicon attach sensor board
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent Soldering experience is considered an asset.
Training will be provided!
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
