A typical day:

Prepare, block, edge and assemble eyewear according to job specifications on DVI work ticket
/li

li
Support production conformance to minimum standards regarding: % avg. days per job (turn around time) % Breakage %Remake Ratio
/li

li
Assist in the basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment by in accordance with to established maintenance procedures and calendars.
/li

li
Strives to improve technical knowledge through the communication with other staff, and through continual self-development. Applies that knowledge in own department and shares openly with colleagues in support of the continuous improvement of processes, products and services
/li

Successful candidates will have:

Post-secondary education including community college and/or university degree in the Technical and/or Mechanical discipline

Experience with machine operation preferred a minimum of 6 months to one year in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand machine schematics
/li

li
Ability to troubleshoot equipment
/li

li
Mechanical skills required (hands-on)
/li

li
Experience with machine operation preferred a minimum of 6 months to one year in a manufacturing environment
/li

• Prepare, block, edge and assemble eyewear according to job specifications on DVI work ticket
• Support production conformance to minimum standards regarding: % avg. days per job (turn around time) % Breakage %Remake Ratio
• Assist in the basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment by in accordance with to established maintenance procedures and calendars.
