The Production Artist role will provide on-site client support to the marketing channel delivery team with day-to-day production of a variety of marketing materials. This position will work closely with the team on development, design and execution of new core brand programs, promotions, and custom POS. The day to day will include work on an array of marketing materials for our retail client, including signage, emails, websites, social and more. To be successful in this role, you must be very well organized and have great attention to detail in addition to being creative and innovative.

About this opportunity
Under the direction of the Associate Creative Director, the Production Artist will build prepress ready art files that comply with in-house protocols.

When your actions lead to success

• Build accurate prepress ready artwork in an efficient and timely manner;
• Edit high resolution images in Photoshop;
• Manage and organize working files within Transcontinental\xe2\x80\x99s server;
• Follow client brand style guides and maintain consistent files;
• Take direction from the team leads;
• Make logical and creative decisions when working on complex layouts;
• Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

When your expertise drives us

• Degree (or work experience equivalent) in computer graphics, design and print production.
• 1-3 years\' experience as a Graphic Layout Artist and Designers.
• Strong knowledge of print processes and the direct affect to the artwork;
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite;
• A positive attitude paired with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment;
• Highly organized, creative and logical thinker;
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Ability to find creative solutions for complex layouts while adhering to client style guides.
