Production and Operations Lead

to join our team and ensure excellence across all stages of production and distribution.

Position Overview:

The

Production and Operations Lead

plays a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of our products--from sourcing and formulation to packaging and delivery. This hands-on leadership position involves overseeing production operations, managing inventory, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring team performance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Manufacturing:

Execute and oversee the full production process for all-natural body care products. Ensure precise adherence to formulations, ingredient handling, safety, and cleanliness standards. Participate in all phases of production: prepping, batching, mixing, filling, labeling, and packaging.

Team Leadership & Training:

Hire, train, and mentor production team members. Develop standardized procedures and onboarding materials for new staff. Track employee hours and support scheduling for optimal team productivity.

Inventory & Order Fulfillment:

Maintain accurate records of raw materials, in-progress items, and finished goods. Organize and oversee timely fulfillment of wholesale and retail orders. Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize waste and prevent shortages.

Quality Control & Facility Standards:

Implement quality assurance checks at all stages of production. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production space following GMP and health regulations. Monitor environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, cleanliness, storage) to ensure product longevity.

Operations & Communication:

Act as the key link between the production floor and company leadership. Report on workflow progress, inventory updates, and staff needs. Support process improvements, efficiency strategies, and operational goals.

Experience:

Background in production, operations, or manufacturing--especially in natural health, cosmetic, or food-grade environments--is preferred.

Leadership:

Strong leadership abilities and experience managing or training a team.

Organization:

Detail-oriented, with solid skills in planning, scheduling, and recordkeeping.

Problem Solver:

Ability to troubleshoot production or workflow issues quickly and efficiently.

Strong Communicator:

Capable of clear, respectful, and timely communication with staff and leadership.

Technically Capable:

Willingness to learn product-specific processes and tools.

Additional Assets:

Punctual, dependable, and highly motivated Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Capable of lifting and standing for extended periods Experience with natural ingredients and herbal remedies is a bonus
