Position: Production and Materials Planner/ Buyer
Location: Montreal
Salary: $80K to $90K per year
Job Type: Hybrid (50% home, 50% office)

Our client, a multinational CPG company, is looking for a Production / Materials Planner / Buyer to develop, monitor, control and optimize the production schedule.

The Production / Materials Planner will be responsible for the following activities:

- Develop an optimized production schedule in SAP
- Balance the production workload and evaluate the impact on resources
- Check the availability of raw materials & components and issue requisitions
- Optimize plant capacity while minimizing operating costs & ensure proper monitoring of key performance indicators
- Manage the production orders process in SAP for production lines, i.e. create, publish, annotate and close the orders
- Maintain clear communication on product prioritizations, changes and product releases with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

- 3 to 8 years of experience in production planning in a regulated environment ideally
- APICS certification, an asset
- Ability to work in a team (cooperation, motivation and good listener, etc.)
- Bilingualism to communicate with international partners
