LiteZone Glass Inc. manufactures LiteZone , a patented, next generation insulating glass unit that achieves ultra-high insulating values and extreme longevity. As part of a team, manufacturing staff (Manufacturing Technicians) will fabricate and assemble parts using small hand and power tools; measuring instruments; overhead cranes; jigs; and automation devices. A variety of materials are involved including glass, fiberglass, sealants, rubber, stainless steel foil, aluminum, polyester film, tapes, adhesives, desiccant, wood, etc.

A successful candidate will be reliable; diligent; mechanically inclined; physically able; capable and willing to learn; good work attitude and ethic; attentive to detail; able to measure in the metric system to tolerances of 1 mm; honest; respectful of self and others; could pass a criminal record check and able to productively work with safety and consistent quality.

A successful candidate will also be able to competently communicate (speak, read, write) in English and have good basic math skills. They will be available for a Monday to Friday day shift, in-person.

Compensation

- $19 to $25 per hour to start, depending on qualifications and experience

- Employee benefit package after 300 hours of work (about 2 months)

- On-site parking is free; ETS available and NEW LRT Valley Line is near

-Footwear required is CSA approved green triangle; all other PPE provided

-Coffee, tea and reverse osmosis water are provided
