The Opportunity:

12-month work term (preferred): September 2023 to August 2024

8-month work term: September 2023 to April 2024

How You Will Contribute:

As a member of the Network Operation\xe2\x80\x99s team within the Product Verification group, you will participate in the management and testing of our network and server infrastructure. The position will expose a prospective candidate to technology including software programming, fiber optic communications and data networking.

Work responsibilities can include building telecommunication networks, writing software (scripts) to improve efficiency, system test or database management.

The Must Haves:

• Working towards completion of computer science or engineering degree
• Strong communication and Linux skills are important.

Assets:

• Prior co-op experience in telecommunications
• Strong knowledge in Linux
• Knowledge of IP (Internet Protocol) networking, computer communications
• Any work experience in IT (Information Technology) including exposure to routing devices such as Cisco/Juniper or network security.
• Knowledge of a programming language such as Python
