W.R. Davis Engineering Ltd (Davis) is a dynamic mid-sized company specializing in the design of infrared (IR) signature solutions for both naval and aerospace platforms. Overview:

Our team is looking to hire for a full time Product Support Engineering position. This position is full time, working onsite Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in the aerospace and defense context at an internationally recognized AS9100 company, tasks would include the following:

Interface with customers in support of new and existing product Perform reliability, maintainability, FMECA analyses and other integrated logistical support (ILS) activities as required Track and update product technical documentation for aerospace and naval defense products Participate in engineering design reviews to help ensure supportability and customer requirements are met

Mandatory Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited Canadian university (mechanical or aerospace focus preferred) Minimum of five years working experience in engineering roles Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally, in English Good understanding of engineering drawings and graphics, and ability to communicate those to customers and end-users who are mostly based internationally Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret security clearance as well as Canadian Controlled Goods Canadian passport-holder

Optional Requirements:

Familiarity with aerospace and/or naval welded and/or riveted components and experience working in those areas Some exposure to electronic control systems Experience with military supportability analyses (reliability, maintainability, sparing, failure modes analyses, etc)

Position is located in Ottawa, Canada. There are opportunities for travel outside of Canada, although this is not a requirement of the position.
