The Role
We're hiring a
Part-Time Samples & Logistics Assistant
to support the hands-on execution of sample organization and order fulfillment.
This is an on-site, non-client-facing role, ideal for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and dependable. It's not about creativity or interfacing with designers; it's about keeping our sample operations running efficiently behind the scenes.
You'll be working with physical wallcovering samples: organizing, labeling, shipping, and helping ensure our internal systems stay updated. It's steady, meaningful work in a design-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Library Maintenance
Keep the physical sample library organized across all NewWall brands
Ensure all samples are current, clearly labeled, and in good condition
Help remove discontinued items and keep the collection accurate
Sample Fulfillment
Pack and ship sample requests for designers and clients
Coordinate with the sales and client service teams on incoming orders
Track outgoing samples, restocks, and returns
Inventory & Coordination
Monitor inventory levels and flag low stock
Assist in logging and organizing new sample arrivals
Occasionally help coordinate special sample orders with suppliers
Process & Systems Support
Use internal tracking tools (spreadsheets, shipping logs, etc.)
Follow clear procedures for packaging and documentation
Look for simple ways to improve flow or organization over time
What We're Looking For
Extremely organized with great attention to detail
Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks
Reliable and punctual -- we need someone who shows up and follows through
Professional demeanor (even though this is not client-facing)
Clear communicator, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills (email, Excel or Google Sheets, shipping tools)
Experience in a showroom, sample library, inventory, or admin support role is an asset
Interest in interiors or design is a bonus, but not required

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
