Product Owner - Diamond Omnichannel Data Hub

Who you are:

You are an influential Product Owner with a passion for building data centric products with an agile mindset. You are passionate about working with cross-functional teams of data analyst, engineers and business analysts to build and deliver exceptional data products, advanced capabilities, and /or compelling visualizations to make a difference for the patients of tomorrow. You are comfortable guiding technical implementation decisions drawing from various perspectives, benefits, dependencies and engineering commitments to create a comprehensive roadmap. You enjoy defining and guiding implementation of KPIs to ensure design and delivery of extraordinary applications.

Reporting directly to Global Data Foundations Product Line Leader, this role will be the Product Owner for the Diamond Omnichannel Data Hub solution, ultimately accountable and responsible to ensure the product delivers business value in every release. As a member of the Agile Team, as the PO, you are responsible for defining User Stories/Requirements, prioritization and playing a significant role in quality control. Using both business process and technical expertise, the Diamond Omnichannel Data Hub Product Owner will oversee the development of this data warehouse & analytics product, from start to finish to ensure it exceeds our client needs and delivers on the Digital Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Owns the Why, What and When of the product: responsible for the product vision and roadmap in alignment with broader organization goals.

Connects business and tech worlds.

Owns the user experience \xe2\x80\x93 internal voice of the user in the pod (product team), supported by UX/CX.

Works with the scrum master and the digital data team daily, maintaining team health.

Owns the prioritization of requirements and its continuous refinement.

Negotiates Yes/No with the business and with the delivery team; empowered to make decisions related to product features, backlog prioritization, release planning.

Defines user stories and accepts them from the delivery team.

Measures generated value and incorporate user feedbacks to ensure continuous value delivery.

Ensures good practices in architecture and that the product meets applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.

Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various cross-functional partners.

Provide consistent updates to leadership and executives, making communication easy and clear regarding product issues and decisions to be made.

Lead business-critical operational performance indicators and technical metrics.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years experience

Bachelor Degree in computer sciences, data analytics or Equivalent professional experience.

Experience with Data Warehousing & Analytics.

Knowledge of Commercial/Omnichannel data, processes and best practices (in Pharma/Vaccines or similar environment).

Experience guiding large-scale, data-centric software products.

Experience leading multi-department teams: clarifying requirements, resolving conflicts, defining roadmap and driving progress.

Excellent problem-solving ability.

Ability to prioritize effectively.

Curiosity, asking the \xe2\x80\x9cWhy\xe2\x80\x9d questions from the business to understand business rules better and the \xe2\x80\x9cHow\xe2\x80\x9d questions from the development team to create a better vision of what the final product should be.

Team Player.

Ability to connect tech and business worlds.

Business acumen.

Ability to prioritize among conflicting priorities and requests in a complex, multinational environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Continuous improvement mindset - Creativity to go beyond current processes to deliver the best solution for a problem or opportunity

Knowledge of Snowflake/ETL&ELT preferred.

Knowledge and experience working with modern cloud-based systems (AWS preferred).

Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology. Agile / Scrum practices using Atlassian software (Jira, Confluence).

Understanding of design quality standards & testing.
