This role will be a Dartmouth-based in office / hybrid position.

This role is a 75% funded position for the first 6 months to support the Pharmacy roadmap development and growth targets.

The Opportunity:



As product owner you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on features that deliver maximum value to the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. You will work with developers as well as internal stakeholders to groom the backlog. In addition, you will work with customers and prospects to address gaps and concerns in the product roadmap and determine features required to succeed in the market.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Product Roadmap Vision



Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. Communicate the product roadmap to customers and prospects and ensure alignment with Maplewave's company goals.

Backlog Management



Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product vision and customer needs. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications for the development team.

Stakeholder Collaboration



Lead sprint planning meetings to help define the sprint goals and the work necessary to achieve them. Conduct sprint reviews and retrospectives to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.

Sprint Planning and Review



Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product vision and customer needs. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications for the development team.

Market and User Research



Conduct market research and user feedback sessions to gather insights and validate product ideas. Analyze data to make informed decisions about product features and improvements. Understand competitive offerings and features that are critical to long-term growth.

Release Management



Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Work with marketing and sales team to develop go-to-market strategies. Work to automate as much of the release cycle as possible through automated testing and automation technology.

Performance Metrics



Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the products' success and impact. Understand which features are used and bug to feature ratio. Use data to make informed decisions and drive product improvements.

Continuous Improvement



Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product management and agile methodologies. Continuously seek ways to improve processes, tools and team dynamics.

Requirements:



A bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CPSO) or similar certification preferred. Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Understanding of AI and application in product lifecycle management and automation. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Proficiency with Jira and Confluence. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CPSO) or similar certification. Experience in pharmacy and / or point of sale solution. Familiarity with UX/UI principles and practices. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 3 to 5 years in product management or a related field. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
