The Product Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in empowering our sales team with the knowledge, tools and resources they need to drive awareness and sales for the organization. They also play a role in strengthening our TWN/MM and Pelmorex Corp B2B brand collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a strategy that supports our B2B brand objectives and continues to position us as leaders in the market but most importantly, delivers sales opportunities and tools for our sales team to drive revenue.

WHAT\'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop stories and sales materials including:
• External facing collateral for new product launches/updates
• Materials that showcase Pelmorex Corp, TWN/MM unique valuable proposition
• Cohesive category content for use in presentations, one-pagers and social promotion
• Case studies that showcase our solutions and ability to drive results
• Creation of templates and tools for the sales team
• Presentations and materials for senior leadership as required
• Have regular communication with ad product & brand stakeholders to ensure we are communicating information in the market in a timely manner.
• Partner closely with the sales team to understand market/client pain points and opportunities to influence the creation of collateral
• Support our Client Strategy team with resources/materials for use in strategic presentations as required
• Own the evolution of our Pelmorex sales resource centre -a valuable and easy-to-navigate resource for the sales team.
• Develop a strategic plan to strengthen our position in the market for The Weather Network & MeteoMedia and Pelmorex Corp. brands through storytelling, industry partnership, and communications.
• Develop presentations for thought leadership, and speaking engagements as required
• Work with industry partners to uncover opportunities that support our strategy
• Lead the social strategy for internal outreach on our Pelmorex Corp social networks in collaboration with Corporate Communications
• Stay up to market trends to support our strategy and positioning in the market

WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE:

• 3-5 years experience in product strategy, product marketing or product management with advertising technology products
• Experience reading, writing and marketing to French audiences an asset
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in an evolving environment
• Experience in the creation of sales materials and using design, and presentation software are an asset
• Strong knowledge of digital, broadcast and social media
