About the opportunity

Dayforce is looking for a Product Manager with Scheduling & Labor Optimization experience, to join our team! In this role, you'll support the Workforce Management (WFM) team in Labor Planning & Optimization initiatives, in partnership with our Data Science team. The selected candidate will have Workforce Management experience, and a deep understanding of the cross-cutting nature of workforce budgeting and optimization across the organization, with a focus on the Human Resources and Reporting & Analytics domains, to help drive initiatives to completion.

As the Product Manager, you will drive the product vision, strategy and execution of our Labor Planning & Optimization product suite. With strong background in product discovery, leveraging insights from the market, analysts, and our customers, you will empower application teams to efficiently delivery high quality products that address current and future requirements.

What you'll get to do

Drive forward Workforce Management (WFM) Labor Planning & Optimizations initiatives with passion and enthusiasm Gather market research, competitive intelligence and user feedback to identify, prioritize and execute against the Product roadmap using a data-driven approach Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design, tech, and business partners? Manage risks & milestones across the software development lifecycle to ensure the team is focused on building the right product, for the right user, at the right time Maintain a comprehensive backlog that can demonstrate customer impact through large-scale initiatives and continuous, iterative improvements Operate effectively and independently in an uncertain environment Motivate and inspire colleagues in technical & go-to-market teams without direct authority

Skills and experience we value

Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and customers A history of successfully managing cross-functional projects, stakeholder expectations, and driving execution with technical and go-to-market teams Experience leading market & user research, writing user stories, and decomposing technical projects into iterative milestones for development Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities? Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills Prior experience identifying, articulating and executing against a product strategy, including the definition and monitoring of product outcomes to define an iterative roadmap Prior experience in WFM with knowledge of labor budgeting, forecasting and planning Prior experience working with data engineering teams to develop, train, and deploy statistical and machine learning models
