The KONEK team has one goal, Enable Canadians to pay who they want, how they want. In-store, On-line, or In-Person. Big Box retailer to your dog walker, the KONEK wallet enables all of these capabilities and more, in one easy to use product.
As a member of the Wallet Product team, you will be responsible for complete web portion of the KONEK checkout experience, focused on E-Commerce Checkout. Working closely with our Issuer, merchant, and acquiring partners, you will lead the rollout, continued optimization, ongoing delivery of the KONEK Mobile Application checkout capability.
Additionally, you will collaborate with our core platform and mobile application teams to enable additional payment functionalities like Buy Now Pay Later, Pay with Points within the E-Commerce Checkout
What you will Do:
We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to own and shape the Mobile Application based portion of the KONEK Wallet. Working in partnership and close collaboration with other KONEK Product Managers, you will define and shape a vision for KONEK's Mobile application checkout experience.
In addition to a fanatical focus on the best customer experience, you will also need to have a keen understanding of, and communicate with all members of the KONEK value chain.
The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in the checkout and payment space, ideally in an Issuer backed wallet scenario, with Zero-Liability mechanics. Deep knowledge of Acquirer and Merchant side integrations, consumer authentication technologies like OIDC and Passkeys, and experience with Web to App crossover patterns would set you apart from other candidates. Technical aptitude coupled with the keenest focus of customer experience will enable you to deliver the best possible experience in partnership with your development team.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop the strategy and vision for the Mobile Application portion of the KONEK wallet.
Develop a complete roadmap to execute on this vision
Effectively communicate the strategic value, ROI, required dependencies to internal and external stakeholders.
Harmonize and deliver on your roadmap in partnership with other KONEK Product Managers.
Deeply understand and deliver novel and consumer friendly E-Commerce checkout and authentication experience in a Zero-Liability Environment. Intrinsically understand and effectively communicate the needs and desires of users, while balancing against the business requirements of stakeholders like Issuers, Acquirers, and Merchants to delivery a world leading checkout experience.

Minimum Requirements?
5+ Years of Product Management Experience
Demonstrated history delivering great user experiences in partnership with Design and Engineering Teams.
Has demonstrated the ability to understand, effectively communicate with, and deliver value to broad set of competing stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate on, design, and deliver solutions that live at the intersection multiple competing needs.
History delivering solutions within a constrain based system.
Preferred Experience
Practical understanding of Payments, liability structures, and the impacts on authentication and authorization requirements for user experiences.
Experience in operating and delivering on a Network/Platform where both cooperation and competition is required.
