As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, competitive landscapes, trends, and defining product roadmaps that leverage technology and data to delight customers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll own areas of strategic importance that are pivotal for our business growth. You will think about the end-to-end customer journey across product and business units to ensure our customer\xe2\x80\x99s experience is a compelling, coherent, and consistent one. Using data will be key for this position; from understanding user experience patterns to mining operational data. In this role, you will leverage your unique combination of business and technical knowledge to evaluate technical options and to represent business requirements to the technology organization.This role offers the flexibility of full remote work or a hybrid arrangement based in one of OPENLANE\'s main office locations: Carmel, IN, or Toronto, ON.Key Responsibilities Include:Contribute to the product strategyAct as a knowledge leader within the companyWork closely with internal and external customers to build empathyDetermine business & customer success metricsPrioritize by value and deliver product initiativesBe an expert on competitorsQualifications:Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Product ManagerDemonstrated success defining and launching excellent productsAuthoring skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to articulate and document the customers\xe2\x80\x99 problem in a manner that encapsulates knowledge and represents a true understanding of the market and its needsInterpersonal skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to build strong rapport and relationships with customers to gain in-depth understanding of customers\xe2\x80\x99 problems and needsInterview skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to interview customers in order to comprehensively understand their market problemLanguage skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to communicate, in written and verbal form, with diverse audiences, internal and external to the company, in a clear and comprehensible mannerMethodological skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to structure and craft market requirements using a formal and structured methodologyProcess skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to implement and/or follow the product planning process component of the product delivery processResearch skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to perform market research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence studiesLeadership skills \xe2\x80\x93 sought for thought leadership on complex business issues and ability to lead facilitation of problem resolutions and new operationsTechnical background - familiar with foundational software concepts, with experience in agile software development methodologiesExcellent teamwork skillsProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityAbility to work across multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAnalytic, highly creative and business-focused problem solverPreferred Qualifications:Previous wholesale automotive remarketing industry experienceProven track record of successfully taking a product from concept to market, including identifying market needs, developing a go-to-market strategy, and overseeing the execution of the launch.
