About the Role:As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and measuring the profit and loss (P&L) for our vendor line. This role includes forecasting, inventory analysis, and managing vendor relationships. You will identify and understand vendor needs and strategic objectives, and analyze market data to pinpoint trends and business growth opportunities.What You\'ll Do:

  • P&L Monitoring: Continuously evaluate the financial performance of the vendor line and make improvement recommendations.
  • Category Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in your category, supporting the sales team in customer-facing meetings.
  • Revenue Goals: Aim to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets, net gross margin percentage, and net gross margin dollars.
  • Operational Improvements: Suggest recommendations for operational enhancements and potential revenue growth.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Analysis: Develop precise forecasts and conduct comprehensive inventory analysis for vendor products or services.
  • Operational Escalation: Act as an escalation point for operational issues related to vendor lines, proactively resolving challenges.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with sales representatives and vendors to develop effective strategies for promoting vendor products.
  • Customer Support: Assist with customer inquiries, pricing, and negotiations related to vendor offerings.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and resolving disputes to foster positive partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Create reports and presentations, conduct market research, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
What We\'re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and efficiency in attending to important details.
  • Presentation Skills: Capable of creating and delivering formal presentations.
  • Effective Communication: Able to understand, communicate, and collaborate with people across diverse identities and backgrounds.
  • Management Interaction: Effective in interacting with higher levels of management (managers and above).
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Confidentiality: Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prioritization and Multi-tasking: Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Independence: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Capable of working constructively under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Learning Agility: Quick to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
