CGI is seeking a full-time Product Manager to join our FX trading and Capital Markets product team. You will be responsible for leading our application strategy and for ensuring our application standardization strategy meets industry requirements along with P&L product management activities. The role will include establishing documentation best practice and working with analysts and engineering group to ensure effective delivery of knowledge material. The role will also involve working with clients and gathering or validating requirements, and driving the delivery of new product capabilities that meet and exceed customer expectations of the capital markets FX industry.




The successful candidate will be customer driven and solution focused, highly analytical and an excellent communicator. You will have a proven track record of working cross functionally throughout the organization in order to communicate the business value of these new capabilities to customers. You will also provide thought leadership and help drive both the short and long-term product roadmap deliverables for key product initiatives to product releases.

Your future duties and responsibilities




Product Management:


Accountable for product features, working with internal and external teams to communicate the product vision and ensure work is focused on delivering maximum value to our clients Collaborate with product groups, product architect and client implementation teams to:
o Develop and prioritize backlog of features and user stories for feature teams to implement


o Participate in product design sessions to ensure alignment with market and user requirements


Drive and deliver on product group P&L requirements, including all aspects of financials from budget preparation, business management, opportunities financials and profitability, client delivery. Develop business architecture direction and host grooming sessions for product features when required so they are clearly understood by the development teams, and act as the first point of contact for any requirements/domain/product related queries Inspire and motivate the teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency

Product Evangelism:


Act as an ambassador for the product; educate external and internal audiences about product differentiators and benefits Conduct research and analysis to help identify and evaluate customer business problems, current market trends, competitive landscape and technological capabilities Liaise with sales, development, marketing, customer support, and professional services to provide thought leadership as a product specialist Providing innovative ideas for the development of new product collateral

Required qualifications to be successful in this role




? 10 - 15 years of experience with industry FX trading solutions or service providers, with strong business exposure including wide range of foreign exchange assets, FX Options and full front to back office transaction processing as well regulatory requirements.

Strong technical skills and able to drive roadmap and product direction

? Experienced working in an agile environment

Able to perform effective reviews to improve and control the quality of deliverables

Can communicate in both business and technical terms
?

Able to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details

Able to mentor and guide the team from a functional perspective
