About the role:

Sustainalytics\xe2\x80\x99 Product Strategy and Development Team is looking for Product Innovation Portfolio Manager to run the product innovation processes and related reporting. The candidate will work closely with product managers, PSD senior leadership and several teams across the company to approve annual roadmaps, manage them on a regular basis and report on the status of innovation priorities to multiple levels of the organization. The candidate will need to develop a good understanding of how product innovation processes complement each other, the responsibilities of various teams involved, and the information flowing through these processes. Where needed, the candidate will work with colleagues to introduce improvements to these processes.

Job responsibilities:

  • Liaise with product managers, senior leadership and internal stakeholders to reach cross-team agreement on short and medium-term innovation priorities.
  • Run a cross-team process to approve and regularly confirm product innovation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with corporate budget and planning cycles.
  • In collaboration with the Stage Gate Program Manager and the Project Management Office, ensure that roadmap management and execution processes run smoothly and the roles and responsibilities are clear.
  • Identify knowledge or information gaps in the roadmap approval and management process and collaborate with colleagues to fill those gaps.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Product Steering Committee (PSC), highlighting the status of product innovation releases and any items requiring decision making. Facilitate monthly PSC meetings and notetaking.
  • Onboard new team members on the roadmap approval process.
  • Where needed, collaborate with Business Analysts to introduce process improvements and/or develop cross-team collaboration agreements.
  • Liaise with the Project Management Office to effectively allocate project management resources to product releases.
  • In collaboration with the information manager, run an innovation portfolio communication plan, reporting on the status of innovation releases to different levels of the organization, including the Executive Team.
  • In collaboration with the information manager, leverage information tools to collect roadmap KPIs and product innovation ideas.
  • Act as the team\xe2\x80\x99s contact point on product innovation, channeling request to the right colleagues and/or bringing new initiatives to leadership\xe2\x80\x99s attention.
Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related discipline (business, economics, finance) or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with relevant experience;
  • At least 6+ years of experience as a project, program or product manager.
  • Organized - Excellent execution skills and attention to detail;
  • Strategic - Ability to see the big picture, propose and lead change;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including in different time zones;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Nice to have:

Change management practitioner certification, experience with project management software. Experience managing reports.
