Due to our growth and increasing product variety, we have created a new position and are looking for a Product Engineering Supervisor. With your expertise in the field, you will be the focal point of our team to coordinate and optimize key resources and processes related to our products at the early stages of their life cycle, i.e. specification and design. In summary, here\'s how you\'ll be spending your time:

• Actively manage the development of product specifications, leading the technical analysis of opportunities, the issuance of manufacturing and industrialization assumptions, and the development of the final proposal
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, support communications between internal departments and complete deliverables under his/her responsibility
• Provide technical representation with the customer for requests for quotes and product design projects
• Actively contribute to technical analysis, product design and design reviews
• Ensure product development continuity in collaboration with the development, quality, tooling and continuous improvement teams
• Seize opportunities to improve processes and practices related to the delivery of engineering services
• Assign mandates and priorities to team members and monitor progress
• Ensure the application of and compliance with the company\'s best practices and processes

WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering
• Member of the Ordre des Ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec
• At least 10 years of experience in product design
• 3 to 5 years experience in management
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Experience in technical representation to customers
• Experience or strong interest in product industrialization in the field of industrial engineering
• Experience in calculations and finite element analysis, an asset
• Knowledge of an ERP, an asset
