to work directly with the founder in defining, validating, and delivering key features of our blockchain application.
This role bridges product strategy, technical analysis, and engineering execution. You will define clear specs, validate implementation details, collaborate deeply with developers, and work closely with QA to uncover the true causes of issues -- ensuring the product behaves correctly across all edge cases.
We expect someone highly detail-oriented, numerically sensitive, and comfortable working under high pressure. Weekend communication may be required during critical release cycles.
The applicant must be familiar with all sorts of DeFi trading tools and their mechanisms (spot, perp, terminal, embedded wallets etc.)
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Feature Development
Collaborate directly with the founder to translate product ideas into detailed specifications, wireframes, user flows, and acceptance criteria.
Create clear PRDs, technical workflows, and prototyping assets for rapid iteration.
Facilitate alignment between product goals and technical feasibility.
Technical Validation & Engineering Collaboration
Work closely with Solana developers to refine architecture, confirm logic, and validate implementation.
Review PRs to ensure correctness, security, and adherence to specs.
Validate on-chain/off-chain behaviour with high numerical accuracy (decimals, fees, balances, rounding, state updates).
Identify and map out all possible edge cases -- including boundary values, race conditions, and extreme scenarios.
Collaboration With QA & Issue Resolution
Partner with QA engineers to
investigate, reproduce, and trace the real root cause of bugs
.
Identify whether problems originate from:
smart contract logic
client-side implementation
RPC/network issues
state desync
calculation or rounding errors
edge-case logic gaps
Translate findings into clear engineering tasks with
priority-level instructions
.
Drive coordinated fixes across the team to ensure timely resolution and minimal production impact.
Continuous Improvement
Document workflows, edge cases, and learnings to improve reliability and future releases.
Stay current with Solana ecosystem patterns, best practices, and relevant technologies.
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in product engineering, technical product management, or software product development.
Hands-on Solana knowledge
, including:
PDAs, accounts, state management
CPIs, program-client architecture
ability to read and reason about Anchor/Rust logic
Strong coding ability in
TypeScript
(Rust familiarity preferred) to assist with prototyping, validation, and debugging.
High numerical sensitivity
-- able to catch discrepancies in token decimals, fees, rounding, slippage, and on-chain calculations.
Proven ability to identify and reason about
edge cases and failure conditions
.
Understanding of Solana trading platforms
Experience working with QA teams to diagnose root causes and drive engineering resolutions.
Ability to prioritize bugs/features based on severity, user impact, and release timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational habits, detail focus, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Comfortable communicating during weekends for urgent releases.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience writing Solana programs with Rust + Anchor.
Exposure to DeFi flows, tokenization models, prediction markets, or high-volume blockchain apps.
Familiarity with on-chain analytics (Dune, Flipside, Helius, telemetry tools).
Experience working in early-stage startups or founder-adjacent roles.
What We Offer
High ownership and direct collaboration with the founder.
A role combining product vision, technical depth, and engineering leadership.
Opportunity to shape a next-generation Solana application from the ground up.
Competitive compensation with fast-paced growth potential.
