Camfil Power Systems is a leading supplier of air filtration and acoustic treatment systems for gas turbines with its headquarters for the Americas in Laval. Your primary function would consist of the following activities:

Design, develop, and test processes for producing prototypes and long-term production of products. Test products and processes and evaluate results to identify problems and work with a team to develop solutions to the problems. Analyze and improve existing processes and products, including updating documentation. Identifying the needs of the company and integrating market research to determine the needs and goals of new products. Conceptualizing new product ideas and produce detailed designs, using CAD software Fabricating prototypes for testing using different production methods from traditional shop tools and CNC to modern rapid prototyping 3D printing. Testing products throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems. Sampling different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief. Fine-tuning designs until they are ready for production. Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes. Collaborate with a global team on projects and incorporate input from different expertise. Manage and source stock for prototype fabrication and testing.
Are you THE person we are looking for?

3 Years experience in a similar field. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. Competence in 3D software such as Solidworks. Experience in the use of the tools used for fabricating prototypes - CNC milling, 3D printing, traditional shop tools. Able to present and discuss ideas to a global team and incorporate feedback in a constructive manner Quick learner and adaptable to new areas of study. Experience in a manufacturing field would be an advantage.
