Join our Product team at QE Home as a

Product Development Specialist

and play a key role in bringing our collections from concept to customer. Reporting into the Product Development function, you'll partner closely with Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing to translate creative vision into production-ready product with care.

What You'll Be Working On




Lead technical product development

from design handoff through production approval for assigned categories.

Create, update, and maintain tech packs

in our PLM system (Centric PLM experience preferred), ensuring accuracy across design, materials, construction, and measurements.

Manage prototype and sample workflows

by tracking submissions, reviewing quality and construction, and documenting feedback within PLM.

Analyze samples for workmanship

, measurements, and finishing to ensure alignment with QE Home brand standards and product intent.

Support product swatch and sample reviews

by documenting feedback and communicating clear, actionable corrections to vendors and internal partners.

Maintain data integrity

across styles, materials, colourways, and BOMs to support a seamless go-to-market calendar.

Ensure consistency

of construction, finish, and sizing across product classes according to established QE Home guidelines.

Coordinate go-to-market readiness

by ensuring all required assets; fabric swatches, packaging samples, imagery samples, and copy data are delivered accurately and on time.

Champion PLM processes

by helping build scalable workflows, documenting best practices, training teammates, and supporting integration between PLM, ERP, and merchandising systems.

Foster vendor and buyer collaboration

through clear technical communication and solution-oriented problem-solving.



What Will Set You Up for Success




3-5 years of experience in product development, technical design, or production, ideally within textiles, apparel, or soft goods. Hands-on experience working with PLM systems (Centric PLM experience is highly valued). Strong technical understanding of fabrics, fills, finishing, and construction across woven and knit textiles. Proven ability to create and manage detailed technical specifications, BOMs, and fit or construction notes. Advanced skills in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and technical documentation. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple seasons, categories, and timelines simultaneously. Clear, collaborative communication skills for working across cross-functional teams and external partners. Curiosity and initiative. We are looking for someone who enjoys improving systems and processes, not just following them.




What You'll Need to Thrive Here




Experience working in a retail, consumer goods, or soft-goods product environment. Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-driven setting with evolving priorities. Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing samples, specifications, and production details. Ability to share and receive feedback openly and translate it into precise technical updates. A collaborative mindset paired with accountability and ownership over your work. An interest in sustainability standards and responsible product development (OEKO-TEX, B Corp frameworks are an asset).




How We Invest in You




Competitive salary: The typical hiring range for this position is

$55,000 to $65,000

per annum. + The final salary may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
