Scovan is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the development and implementation of drishya.ai Artisan + Brains software products within the Scovan ecosystem. You seek to understand how engineering and fabrication deliverables are generated and lead the Artisan development and continuous improvement activities to make this process more efficient. You seek to understand how Brains can add value to our product offerings and lead this development and continuous improvement effort. You seek to understand how artificial intelligence and machine learning are poised to play an important role in the future of Scovan. This role will be accountable to the Vice President of Product Innovation. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Scovan\xe2\x80\x99s working relationship with our AI/ML partner, Drishya, to advance artificial intelligence and digitization opportunities
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of Drishya\xe2\x80\x99s Artisan + Brains software products for use within Scovan
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop execution strategies for and lead the implementation and adoption of Artisan within Scovan workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop execution strategies for and lead the implementation and adoption of Brains within Scovan products
  • Lead the development of in-house digital replication strategies for engineering and fabrication deliverables
  • Interface with ALL business units for identifying opportunities, information gathering, prioritization, and implementation
  • Create business cases to support recommended initiatives & lead funding initiatives to pursue applicable grants
  • Pursue excellence. Be relentless in pursuit of opportunities to automate, optimize and advance productivity and efficiencies that help reduce overall costs and increase the value add for Scovan\xe2\x80\x99s clients
  • Communicate, interface, and collaborate effectively with your manager, co-workers, vendors, and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with relevant industry experience (5+ years)
  • A passion for innovation and problem solving
  • Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset
  • Roll up your sleeves mentality with a whatever it takes mindset to get the job done
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Monday.com software
  • To take ownership of the results and to work to improve future results
  • Take initiative, advocate and exemplify teamwork, innovative thinking and problem solving
  • Previous engineering experience with exposure to the following common industrial facility deliverables:
  • Engineering & fabrication drawings including: Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), General Arrangements, Spool Isometrics, Etc.
  • Engineering project deliverables including: Line Lists, Equipment Lists, Instrument Indexes, Material Takeoffs, Load Lists, Alarm Lists, Shutdown Keys, Etc.
  • Previous experience with AI/ML applications will be considered and asset
