PURPOSE
The role of the Product Developer is to ensure a consumer-centric premium segmented product lines, executed through set strategies, development, and merchandizing processes of the apparel. The Product developer is the product expert and an active partner within design, development, quality and sourcing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Grow Global Market Share, thru innovative & market relevant product strategies including cross functional collaboration with sales & marketing and finance to achieve revenue and margin objectives supporting the design vision and business KPI\'s for both existing and innovation through new products in the technical assortment that makes CCM leader within the segment.
  • Maintain an ongoing and thorough knowledge of competitive premium consumer centric products
and Apparel Market trends both within and outside CCM\'s main areas.

  • Be consumer centric, work with consumer segmentation and premiumization of the brand
through standards set for the CCM brand

  • Partner with Inventory and procurement Management team on: planning, analysis and buying to
ensure appropriate inventory levels throughout the season.

  • Follow COMPASS process activities and deliver on time.
  • Plan and actively follow key date calendars for product line development, internal and external commitments and related events.
  • Build product assortment together with stakeholders within the apparel team that meets sales, margin and stock-keeping unit (sku) management targets.
  • Have seasonal valid input for the Apparel team to Create merchandizing Line Plan for all promos and retail opportunities and provide sales group with appropriate sales support materials (i.e. presentation boards, line lists, product knowledge, etc.) to support Apparel BU Director and Product manager.
  • Make sure SMS delivers on time
  • Create seasonal brief with needed assortment and direct product development process of product line with production facilities, manage league approval process of styles and manage overall development together with team and Product Manager.
  • Plan overall business margins for product categories and analyze sales and inventory reports for line planning strategies.
  • Do tech packs and work within all required system to get all info for each product correct and delivered in time.
  • Daily contact with Design, Fit/ paper pattern maker, sourcing, quality, demand planning and buying.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum +5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with product development or garment production or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of product development, production timelines and requirements.
  • Strong organization and within team and suppliers also communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to managing different priorities
  • Positive attitude to changes and to follow timelines and dead lines
  • Ability to stay resilient and work well under pressure in a fast paced and \xe2\x80\x9creactionary\xe2\x80\x9d environment
  • Knowledge of team sports, apparel, licensing agreements and sports \xe2\x80\x9cretail culture\xe2\x80\x9d is an advantage
  • Bilingual- French and English
